I got a call today from a member of the Democratic Commitee, the woman said that she wanted me to know that the Democrats were dedicated to having a super majority to stop the illegal war in Iraq. She asked if she could count on my support by calling my Congressional and Senatorial representatives to stop this illegal and unjest war suppported by rich political interest groups and the Republican party.
When I told her that I had served in in the Army she became rather flustered.She said well we appreciate you serving your country even in a criminal war (would that make me an accessory?). And that she was sorry I had to sacrafice so much for an unjust cause (which I thought was very big of her). She then stammered about for a few seconds mumbling something about a happy holiday ( couldn't bring herself to say Independence Day I guess), and then something about she was sorry for bothering me, because I obviously had made my mind up (about what I am not sure).
I guess on the Fourth of July our political operatives are searching out for those who want to spend it bashing our country instead of doing what is important. Blowing up fireworks and having cook outs!! I think it's in the Constitution somewhere.

Blowing up shit and having cookout is part of the Constitution. It's in the very very bottom in the small lettering.. Yes you have to have a high tech microscope to see it.. lol
