Unassuming
Firm and Strong
Light and inflexible
I was built for a task

My design is simple
Harden, sharp and blunt
Born of necessity
I am only used in the extremes

I stay packed away
Awaiting my turn
The cold does not bother me
The physical abuse of impact is welcoming

I can save your life
Holding my position for days and weeks
My leash will give way, but never me
I can support all that you can put upon me

I puncture the frozen, skin of Mother nature.
Simply - I am tougher then her
Much like my role model - a Timex
I can take a lickin
