great weekend.

friday we kicked it local at the dives.
that was cool, till my boys decided to make my apartment the afterhours spot.. haha i didnt mind. though, i should have for having 20+ at my place past 5 in the morning. saturday was fun trying to shake the hangover all day. blech. saturday night was ruby skye fashion show and mixed elements parties....

i had a late nite craving for fresh strawberries last night. the farmer's market that i always buy huge ripe strawberries from was closed so i had to settle for safeway's tasteless crap strawberries. oh well. i got my fruit so i can't complain.

i grew up in santa maria (4 hours south)
the town puts out almost half the nations strawberries.
we used to just hop a few fences to fresh pick em all the time. i love getting stuff from a farmers market. so much more love goes into the food. its almost like the fruit wants you to enjoy eating it....
