I got my nipples pierced on Wednesday. That is some crazy intense pain when that needle goes through. They still hurt a little, sporadically, but for the most part haven't bothered me since the night it was done.
Masami has been in town all this week. We've had a lot of fun. We lit fireworks on Tuesday. We saw The Lake House on Saturday; I thought it was pretty cool. We went out to an Italian restaurant after I got pierced. We watched Doctor Who (we've now made it through "Love & Monsters" which I had been dreading but wound up really enjoying). We left a couple of ugly red stains (cherry juice) on the carpet in the spare bedroom downstairs.
Tomorrow is the Obon Festival in Salt Lake. We usually dance in it; I don't know if I will because I've only been to one practice (well, two, but as the second was right after my nipples were done I just sat and watched). Masami can't find our fans, towels, etc.; they must be in a box somewhere - we moved since last year's festival.
