Well, I guess they are going to try to bring Knight Rider back. Knight Rider was a show on NBC in the 80s about a guy who went around the usa fighting crime using a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am that could go ultra fast, was bulletproof, could jump through the air, had artificial intelligence, could talk, etc. If done right, a remake of the series could be very cool! 
However, as a big Knight Rider fan, I am disappointed that the Ford Mustang will be used for KITT. In my opinion, the Ford Mustang is too boxy in the front to be KITT. KITT is supposed to be all aerodynamic and futuristic. The interior looks promising, though. Here are pictures of "the new KITT":
