How is it that a group of kids can make fun of Bruce Springsteen for his sleeve-rolling and not see the irony of listening to and loving a band like AFI?
I'm getting old, and I sound like my dad, but I can't stand all the crap out there today, all that whiny-rich-"I wanna die" music. Or the politically charged 18 year olds who know all about the world with exactly 0 experience in the real world.
Or the activists who have yet to see the repercussions of their supposed "improvements on society."
Fuck the non-conformists.
Once upon a time, music was an experience that meant something. Once upon a time, musicians did what they did for the music, for the people. Not for the money.
I guess my tolerance has waned lately.
