I keep meaning to update more often, but I really don't have anything all that interesting to say...
I'm learning Rush at quite the prodigious pace, and it makes me happy about getting back in the groove, playing every day for an hour (or more, depending on whether Heather's working or not)...
She doesn't care much for Rush...
Doesn't even know what she's missing. They just don't make bands like that anymore, for the most part. Strong musicianship, powerful lyrics, and consistently good cds - not singles that die in a month.
Ah well.
Well, tonight's the Christmas party for the command, and I'm not going (obviously) but at least I get tomorrow off. So I've worked one (1) single day all the way through this week.
Awesome. Salaried position, hours don't count.
So anyway, that's about that... I think I'll go get the rat out of the freezer, to dethaw for a snack.
