Finally got to go out last night...went to Logan's for a really high priced dinner and then went to see the 7:45 showing of Corpse Bride.
I love Tim Burton, but I guess I was expecting a bit more from this movie. I didn't think it "flowed" the right way. I don't know....maybe I was just expecting something as awesome as The Nightmare Before Christmas....
....which would be something...because nothing could top that one!!
Really cute story though!!! The ending did bring a tiny tear to this girls eye anyways

Yes, I liked Nightmare more, but I thought the Corpse Bride was still an awesome movie. It was a bit short, but so are almost all animated movies. Most people seem to be knocking the soundtrack, but considering what Tim Burton wanted from the music, I think it was great; the piano moments were really good, and Danny Elfman did great with the rest of it. Plus he uses lots of french horn, so I love the man.
