So my ex wrote me an email a few days ago. I haven't heard from her in months, per her request. Now she wants a friendship with me. I said sure, I may have a new girlfriend, but there is no conflict of interest if my ex is in Ohio and I'm here in CA. Plus the new girl knows about the old, so its not like I'm going behind her back or anything. There is a slim chance but this could acually work out. Cross your fingers.

No, I think u sound safe to proceed. I'm currently friends with my most recent ex. But, some advice: if u start picking up signs that your ex wants you back, go an the lam. Change your name, address, phone #, and take a minimum three week vacation to Mexico. I recommend Cozumel.
