One of the happiest moments of my life is definitely a trip to Finland in 2017. Now I will tell you why.
Since childhood, I love Tove Janson's books about the life of Moomin trolls. They tell us about family of these little "hippos", their friends, strange creatures and their adventures.
These books are full of kindness, beauty, so I fell in love with them. When I found out that there is a whole theme park "Moomin World" in Finland, Naantali dedicated to the life of Moomin trolls - I realized - that this is my new dream! I told myself that I will definitely go there at any cost! ⚡⚡
Naantali is a beautiful small town in the south-west in Finland. Moomin World is state on a big island near the city center. You can get into only by crossing a looong bridge.
The beauty of this place lies in the fact that the park recreates the images from the book in the smallest detail, from the characters and their costumes, to the buildings and household items of the Moomin trolls (even the cake was in the living room just like in the book!)
I was happy like a child! Especially when I met one by one characters from the books in different part of island! I immediately ran to take pictures with them!
Its not so easy, to visit this place😅 This park opened only for 2 month in summer and only for 2 weeks in winter! So glad, that i did it before all this COVID problems. Definitely - one my happiest memories🥰🥰
