I'm off for a few days tomorrow. I'm going to Calgary to a Harm Reduction Conference with my practicum. It's a whole bunch of classes and workshops about different harm reduction methods, ok ok ok enough social work talk. But I do have to say that I really enjoy the fact that about 4 years ago, I spoke at a very similar conference about getting clean with the help of methadone, when I had been clean only 2 months. And now I'm going as a professional, and my practicum is paying for it and my hotel there

It's such a gift to be able to go to those places we've been before in different times in our lives and we can use it like a measuring stick for our growth.
I'm starting to stop resisting the whole schoo/nurse thing so much. I have 4 finals next week and then I'll be in practicum as well.
