So a lot of things have happened since my last post! I'm glad to be back at the very least! I'm no longer teaching as I found out that teaching is something that I cannot enjoy. Perhaps teaching in another aspect like college or for adults would interest me more, but for now I think I'm going to attempt to become a social worker. One of the issues I had while teaching, was that there were a lot of kids that weren't getting the support they needed and it just killed me a little bit each and every time I saw it and couldn't do anything about it.

I'm still living in New Orleans and it has been a blast. My first year I didn't get to enjoy the city as much because work took up most of my time. Halfway through my second year teaching I quit my job and have had a lot more time to enjoy the city with my new job. I've been a lot happier the past few months and with roommate changes (nothing was wrong with the old ones, they just didn't do much out of the house).

I also picked up a DLSR camera and I'm hoping to get better at taking pictures. Maybe one day I'll photograph somebody for the site!
