Thanksgiving (the American celebration of white Christian refugees overcoming adversity to conquer a native peoples and decimate them) is fast approaching. So here's what I'm thankful for.
1. Social Networks
The internet in general, and social networks specifically, have reduced the world into squabbling school children.
2. Politics
See above.
3. 90s Nostalgia
Because of all those damn kids born in 1994 who sort of remember maybe seeing an episode of Family Matters, I get to suffer through a revival of every fucking sitcom, movie, pop song, or whatever else happened to be released between the years 1990 and 1999. SPOILER ALERT- it all sucked. (for the record, as I was actually a kid in the 90s, I am, in fact, a true 90s kid- the 90s FUCKING SUCKED).
4. The Real Shit
Okay, I've had my fun. I'm really thankful for good health, good friends, and knowing that there are good things on the horizon. If I'm going to get super real, I'm thankful that this year's going to be over soon- it's been a bit of a rough one.
And I'm thankful to you, SG. I'm thankful to all the pretty girls who like to take off their clothes, the pretty girls who don't, and the gents as well. You guys is cool. You is my people.
