This week's theme for the SHUT UP AND DRAW blog was Batman villains. Here's my entry:

I'm not going to comment on the tragedy in Colorado, other than to say it has nothing to do with Batman or this movie specifically. It's not about media violence. It's about one man's decision. If you need to blame someone, blame him.
Let's disassociate this tragedy from Batman by reminding ourselves that this is actually the worst Batman related thing to ever happen in a movie theater:
And, while we're at it, the only good thing to ever come from "Batman & Robin"
Stay safe, people.

Well, I grew up with the Adam West series, where Mr. Freeze was never played by the same actor twice, so I didn't have any concerns over what to expect from him. I PERSONALLY started cringing with the Poison Ivy stuff and wondered how the hell Alfred knew how to make a form-fitting Batsuit for a niece he'd never actually met... AND sneak it past Batman. My ideal scene would have had Bruce Wayne bringing the Batgirl suit to Alfred's bedside and saying "Alfred, what the fuck is this?"

it was ok. I really like the stuff from my childhood. Jack Nicholson as the Joker etc etc. Bane's voice annoyed me. I was like spit it out every time he was talking. Half the time I couldn't hear him.
