weekend update
it was a pretty cool weekend. all started friday night, as many weekends do. went to hogs and honey's. for someones birthday, i girl i barely know, but its ok, you dont need much of an excuse to drink. and drink i did. the tap beer was free until 11, so i downed 4 in 45 minutes. if its free, drink it. i was convinced to ride the mechanical bull. my friend told the guy to go rough on me, and he did. i strained/jammed my thumb and its still hurting me on tuesday. there was a cute girl there, who i started making conversation with. things didnt go so well, i fucked up and wasnt my smoothest i guess. or she just cant take a joke. but thats ok, you cant win them all.
saturday i ended up joining some friends at a midget bar. there was only one midget there, i dont know how many you need to qualify it as a "midget bar," but i was expecting way more. it was pretty dead. my friends girlfriend brought out a bunch of her friends, but they all seemed to have boyfriends. that no fun. but it was nice night, nice that it wasnt so humid like it was last weekend. though i totally frooze my ass off riding my bike home at 2am in a thin shirt. brrr.
sunday went to 4th of july bbq #1. some friend of my cousins. they were blowing up a lot of shit. i like the big loud ones the best. drank for free there, this guy let me have a 40 of bud and pint of jack. it doesnt get much better than that. was talking to another cute girl this night, but i dont think i got her name by the time i left. the conversation went better than the one from friday at least
and then monday i hit up 3 more 4th of july parties/bbqs. #1 was my uncles in naperville. was going to ride out there, but it was raining and looked pretty ugly. so i drove. stayed for a few hours and headed to my friends party in oak lawn for #2. stayed long enough to eat soem kickass food, then me and 3 of my friends decided we'd dodge raindrops and make our was over to party #3 in tinley. we werent good at dodging. i was soaked by the time i we got there. my back and my ass were dry though. stuck around there for the rest of the night. it was kinda blah, mostly older people. the fireworks show they put on was on par with some city display. it was nuts. im suprised no one blew of a hand or something. i dont mess with that stuff. got dry by the time i left, rode home, stayed dry, and crashed. long weekend. but fun times
