Everytime I flip on the tube, it's the same boring shit. I stare captivated at the glowing images dancing before my eyes. What the hell am I getting from this programming. At least with a computer you can control the content.

I'm a nut for news channels. Real life interests me more than sitcoms about fictional characters. It's the real things in life that raises the hair on the back of my neck. Nothing is as scary as a murderer on the loose in your town. It allows you to become involved in the proceedings. Interactive television. You can watch the proceedings of the war; as you see the number dead you decide to join the military and become a part of the telecast. The hero or heroine of the story. It's amazing how well they can keep us in suspense.

I remember sitting and staring as a highspeed chase insued in LA. I always seem to root for the bad guys in these scenarios. You have all these cops tailing this lone suspect. What ever happened to a one-on-one fight? So I just cheer for the lone nut who has the balls to stand against a bigger foe. The whole time I watch with the best seat in the house, from the view of a chopper in my living room on the couch. In safety from the elements. Damnit! They used a spike strip. Cheaters.

Commercials. Endorsements. Dumb jargon about how I need some worthless item or new home equity loan. Fuck off with your Lucky Charms. Those marshmallows only captivated me when I was 9.

Election ads. Who has the deepest pockets to slander the other guy. Look what money can buy you. Time slots between programming. Money well spent let me tell you.

Christian channeling with christian messages, christian music, christian cartoons, and zealots.

Cartoons. What the fuck happened to the cartoons? Even the ones I watched in the eighties. Transformers. Holy shit! I didn't know they were riddled with underlying messages! "Don't touch military equipment, Timmy. You might get capped or explode!"
Most of them have deduced in quality. You know what i'm talking about: construction paper cut-outs(south park), digital cartoons, simplistic design(power puff girls). The only people i see putting an effort into creating illustration are the Japanese. Although they do have their faults.

Mtv. Oh Mtv. The memories as a child jumping on the bed while watching David Lee Roth yell about "Panama". The adolescent years looking cool like Corey Feldman, donning my sun glass trying to compliment his image. The music videos of the bands I loved. So what channel do I turn to find the music videos again?
