Ah, it's Easter again.
Time to pack easter eggs with razorblades and cyanide.
Another year of panicky kids turning up every object in yards to find eggs. The neighbors were up early this morning strung-out on coffee and insomnia, I watched as the parents placed easter eggs in secluded spots, only to find out these eggs were accompanied by rattlesnakes. Children running around with bright neon baskets that scorch trails in my retina when they flash from place to place under a bright solar visage. Why do they skip around so merrily? Showing no mercy to the taunts of imagination. They think a giant rabid animal with elongated ears has eaten skittles and shit multi-colored plastic eggs in every lawn on the block. I'm wishing for a fight to ensue between unfenced neighbors. The sheer sight of children invading other yards stealing some other kid's loot, like a treasure island story gone awry. Then their's the holy rollers that stumble around aimlessly around the neighborhood with pamphlets informing me of Jesus' sacrifice for my sinful body. Door to door they sing their paeans. Too bad they didn't make it to my front door, I'm thinking it had something to do with the oil slick I applied to the steps going to the front porch. I take a sip of coffee as I watch them stumble down the driveway away from my house.

My temper arises as I watch an evil-doer don the wardrobe of a smiling purple bunny. I'm mumbling obscenities under my breath as I wet my lips with another sip of black nectar. I fear that this rabbit will spoil these neighborhood runts. Children that learn that innocence is golden. That damn rabbit is exploiting their tender young minds. How could this happen? Is this Culture? Why did I feel the need to blow the knee caps off that giant portrayal of seasonal antiquity? Why was I still bloody from digging my fingers into it's open wounds? The children again. Images of their large eyes welling with tears as some psychotic unloads two 9mm rounds into their idol. Their blood sprinkled faces staring back into my empty eyes as the bunny writhes around bellowing out painful verbatim. I take another sip of coffee.

Time for another pot.

Nah, it's not Jar. It's some crack dealer. Heh, sounds a lot like Jar, come to think of it, but it's some other loser.

Why did Jay and Michelle break up? Did he finally get to where he had enough of her pissy attitudes? I hope he's doing okay. I got your PM so I'll call you at your mom's house tomorrow evening (Tuesday) after work.
