*this is petty and immature, plz dont judge me!!!!!*
After over two years of my best friend bitching and nagging me about my black hair and how "wrong and bad" it looks. The last time she was in MJ visiting she was fed up with her life and decided she wanted to do something drastic. I told her to get a tattoo... hehehe but then she looks at me and says "Maybe I should dye my hair black... THAT would make Greg (her BF/fiance) just DIE!!!!" I had kind of figured that this whole "drastic" thing was a desperate ploy for her neglegent/absent boyfriend to give her ANY attention. I asked her if she would concider something slightly less drastic and more "her".... she decides she'll just go get a different Blonde put in.... then a few weeks ago, I get this little text message on my phone:
OMG the hairdresser totally fucked up my hair
Luckily I was on my McBreak and could respond asking her what happened. Her response:
ITS BLACK!!!!
now honestly, how much can a qualified hairdresser fuck up a simple coloring? So I write back asking what could possibly happen to "accidentally" give her black hair. Apparently she had chosen a "light" brown (basically her natural color) out of the stylists color book and SOMEHOW magically she ended up with this intense jet black. I can understand some mishaps occuring when getting hair treated, but seriously.
She's had this infatuation with immitating me since we were.... (figuring... hmm... i was in grade 7... uh... so 7 plus.. is...ok ok i quit) 12/13 ish? When I had mentioned it in about grade 9, she promptly set out to prove me wrong by dying her hair this intense red-which looked FABULOUS on her.... she kind of had this kate winslet "titanic" thing going on... she looked amazing. But when I did not follow her lead, she promptly went back to the (my) signature platinum blonde.
ANyways, enough of memory lane.
She surprised me and came to town this weekend.... and god knows i love the girl, but she looks rediculous. Black is NOT her at all.... and needless to say, her bf/fiance has been working out of province and has nto even seen the damage yet...
we went out for drinks last night and all she could do was bitch because Greg didn't bother coming home to see her and what she had done. I asked her if she seriously thought that he would drive roughly 6-8 hrs just to see how she dyed her hair... apparently she did infact think he would.....
I dunno if having her baby a year or so ago completly messed with her head or something, but I swear she's getting more and more moronic. She used to be a very independent strong person... now shes a clingy whiny obnoxious little attention starved little girl... who apparently *might* be pregnant again! because THAT is the smartest thing to do right now.... have another baby with a father who you see once a month....
