My last two blogs have been kind of downers, so I think I'll update without all the sad hospital business.
As anyone who has seen my profile knows, one of my biggest vices/guilty pleasures is reading terrible teen novels. The more ridiculous the premise the better. Teen socialites at the turn of the century? Great. Long lost twins that also happen to be witches? Awesome. They are so ridiculously entertaining that I'm kind of addicted, plus a cheaper habit to finance then say...crack.
Anyway, the only series that I've been avoiding for as long as I possibly can would be the Twilight series. It's not that I purposely had no interest in it...it's just that my friend Samantha has been bugging me for two years to start reading it, and seeing as I am a stubborn Greek, I don't like to do what others tell me to do. Yet a few weeks ago, my little sister started reading the series and threatened me with death if I didn't start reading too. So I took her advice because she has the unnatural strength of an amazon and could kill me with her bare hands if she wanted to.
Needless to say I loved it. I am now obsessed with the story of a teenage girl that falls in love with a vampire. I cannot wait for the fourth book of the series to come out in about 100 days, and for the first movie that comes out this winter. I should have seen this coming, considering my Harry Potter addiction calmed down as soon as I finished the last book. I've just transferred my addictions from that to Twilight. Instead of checking mugglenet everyday, now I check websites to view the progress of the twilight movie. Plus, the actor that played Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter movie, will be playing the vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie, they can't just make a move like that and not expect me to be obsessive about it! I mean come on!
So in conclusion, I am a huge nerd.

And thanks for the compliment!
