So my uncle is doing a little bit better. Thankfully, his kidneys didn't totally shut down as we had thought on saturday, which was a big relief. He can open his eyes now and respond with his hands to questions (one squeeze means yes, two no.) So we're holding our breaths right now and hoping for more improvement.

Still at the hospital. Still no improvement. I'm so tired and wasting time on their annoying wifi.

So I just received the lovely news that I get to spend tomorrow night staying at the hospital with my cousin to watch over my uncle.

Thank you Gotlieb hospital for performing a risky surgery on him, and then putting him in a double room with another patient, giving him a life-threatening infection.

I need a hug.
