OK, so I had a good time at workshop. I learned some cool marketing and posing stuff, and I almost bought a new camera. I still need to raise a little bit more scratch to get it, but I should have it by the end of August. I can't wait. A pro camera of my own. That will rock. Heading over to the photo group...

yey!!! it's all about the decay!!!

You just might like to know that today I was shot down. I said, "Can I have your phone number?" She said, "I'm sorry, I'm engaged." My first thought was to give her a business card and offer to photograph the wedding. But then my embarassment and disappointment kicked in and I ended up just wishing her a good day before blasting off. I had...

This weekend past was a wedding in Skaneateles, NY. This is a very old resort town in the Finger Lakes. It's nice there. One of the cleanest lakes in the world, I'm told. Spent the weekend in New York City. I went there to photograph a wedding at the NY Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, acting as a shooting and schlepping assistant. Very cool. There is a Tattoo Convention here August something..??..I'll check into the exact date and let you know..
damonone:
actually, you are right, there are really no comprable cameras in the SLR variety. (other than other Kodaks).
i better stop looking at this camera, before i decide i want one. right now my next camera will probably be the canon 300d or the 10d
my comment had to do with the consumer variety cameras. kodak's are just blah. (yeah, that is the technical term
)
where do you do your research? if i may ask.

Yikes. I think this squirrel had too much Guiness and tried to stumble it's way home.

Preoccupied with poisons. Distracted by bottled demons. Soured by sauces. And loving it.

Darn just when I was ready to join in the fun!
Quite happy in my perceived poverty and apparent disshevelledness. For the moment.
