-Got paycheck from work and found out that the theater is on the verge of a hemorrhage, and SOMEONE is going to quit...but oddly enough I'm the safe one (as assured by EVERY admin at separate times "in confidence")

Yes. That is the plan right? I have a gig the day after, but that only means you have to entertain yourself for only a few hours before the show, and you get the car to do with as you please (just clean it out if you hide any bodies or anything else nefarious)
