yesterday was just a busy ass day. i'm trying to get back into the swing of things, workwise, during my day's now. i feel a little out of it working out of my house, but hey, if i want to milk the system for all it's worth, then that's what i'll do. still not sure if i'd be comfortable throughout an entire day in the office yet, but i'm sure i could work there spuradically. we'll have to see, must consult surgeon first.
after my long day of trying to get work done, i had to get humping on my evening plans which entailed cooking spaghetti for dawn. surprisingly enough, i've never cooked spaghetti in my life! who the fuck has never cooked spaghetti by age 27?
it wound up taking me forever, i just wanted to get it the best i could. i'm kinda a perfectionist in the kitchen. even though i wasn't completely pleased with the end result, dawn liked it.
she had a full day herself earlier, so i promised her that i'd make her smile. well, i think i did. i bought her some lily's that i arranged in a vase with some baby's breath, and made a little card for her with a big smiley face in the middle. she called me a "romantic", never really thought of myself like that, and in fact couldn't even stand any romantics myself. dear lord, what has become of me?
