Funny how life can change in an instant.
If you have a peabrain as I do and enjoy reading my drivel, then you've probably also been quite aware of my predicament with my spinal tumor. Well, this evening has started off pretty goofy. A lot of self reflection.
I got my hair cut today, and my *ahem* stylist (shut the fuck up... I'm a yuppie, I know) has had two back surgeries on his cervical spine in the last two years. I see all the pain he's gone through with his stories. I'll be honest, sitting in that chair for so many years I've been quietly freaked out about anything like that happening to me, well it's happening to me now. I'm a bit luckier then him, my issue is buried in my lumbar spine.
I had odd and unfamiliar emotions this morning stemming from something else, but now the night is sullen for other reasons. Real reasons.
I've actually had a feeling of fear for the first time tonight.
