Received my first issue of "Modern Drunkard" magazine yesterday... what a waste of money! It's literally two or three "articles" and then the rest is all add space, mostly for bars in Colorado. However did see an add for Rick's Caberet, which included a free admission coupon. 
So it's got that going for it... which is nice.
It's rainy today... it's poopy.
I think I'll try to continue sanding my bathroom walls this evening. Ordering my new carpet this morning. Yahoo!!! Let's have a wine and martini yuppie-duppie party when it's all done!

Midday Update:
I just smoked my last cigarette, and now have a patch on my shoulder. This thing ain't fucking around, and is in my system!!!
So it's got that going for it... which is nice.

The Pistons should have fucking won that game. I really went into it thinking that there was NO WAY the Lakers would allow them to come close. To me, it really shows that the Pistons have an excellent chance of taking the title. About game 4 of the Indiana series I thought to myself that no matter what happens, the Pistons WILL NOT lose this series. I am starting to get the same feeling about the finals series, but I am not willing to say it straight out yet.
Ah, working on the house. Something I no longer have to do. When I moved towns a few months ago, I decided to rent. (to get to know the town, etc.) I don't miss working on my old fixer upper! (what work I accomplished, that is...it wasn't much)
Hope you are well. Congrats for trying to kick the smokes habit. (nasty as it is) The eyes of my entire company will be on me Thursday. CEO is visiting and we are having a VIP reception. Everything has to be absolutly perfect, no excuses! Anyone spare a valium?
