UPDATE@3:25pm: She's on the table...
UPDATE@4:55pm: She is now out of surgery, and all preliminary reports is that they have removed everything that was of a cancerous nature!!! Her thyroid was also removed as a precautionary measure, to which she'll be on medication for the duration of her life. I'm preparing to leave work right now, and will be at the hospital in two hours!!!
