Interesting afternoon...

I was told I was "under-nurtured" today. I would usually associate that terminology with children only, but the more she broke it down, the more it made sense.

I operate too much outside of work as I do at. I'm a control freak in the office, demand shit my way, break my own back to make things happen (versus delagate), and all to have the peace of mind that it's done right, but for the sake of knowing *I* did it right. I don't like others controlling the game, I want it to be mine and mine only.

When at play I come off very independent, and demand little to nothing of others. But more importantly I ask nothing of others. I may do several things for others, and all to often it's just assumed that Johnny's good because he's a rock. He's always taking care of himself and others, so it's all cool to let him do his own thing without question.

The little things that people do for me around these parts blow me away, yet everyone tells me to shut up because it's not that big of a deal. To me, it's something that I get no other place in my life. Everyone assumes to just leave me alone.

My SG friends were called my "replacement friends" the other day by someone in my circle of friends that have been there since grade school. I giggled and walked away. But once again, it's true. I know I've talked about it before, so I'll go on no further.
