I seem to have fallen into a slight depression, not because I didn't get the job, but because I have to keep working at the current job, for which I have developed an intense dislike. I keep wanting to go out and buy something expensive and electronic, which pisses me off for two reasons. We don't have the money to do so, and I know it's only because I'm depressed. I haven't had the desire to do so for this reason in quite a while and it's pissing me off that it's back. But come on, how many people do you know who still don't have an iPod?
Anyway, even though I don't like my current job here are a few highlights.
Most new school buses of this size sold in California now run on compressed natural gas (CNG). Unfortunately all our school buses are built in North Carolina, which means they have to drive across Texas, and Texas doesn't seem to care whether or not CNG vehicles have a place to fuel while driving across the second biggest state in the country. After they closed all their fuel stops, our company had to hire a trucking company to deliver all out buses to us, unfortunately the company they hired uses trucks that can't unload without a loading dock. Of course, we don't have a loading dock. So now everytime a new bus gets delivered I have to do this:

In mid air.

In the middle of our shop.

This one came in so that I could drive it off forward, most come in so I have to do it backwards, FUN!
There's a truck center at our location too, and The Aquarium of the Pacific has a mobile aquarium. They came in the other day and let us look inside after the repairs were done.

The only reason this last one is a high light is because it happened to someone in a different department. They were going to load a forklift onto a flat bed and send it to another location. No one was hurt by the way.

Anyway, I'm gonna go see what expensive crap I can talk breezey into letting me buy.

True christians would find it appalling, but the supposed real ones of today wouldn't know the true sense of it if the bible literally jumped in their laps.
That very thing is what turned me away from religion and towards atheism. People can just distort religion to make it mean whatever they please, it seems.
