So, I rarely use my journal for a full fledged vent/rant, but today deserves it.

Last week, while I was filling in for a vacation of one of the few people I actually like at my job who works on the morning shift that I actually like, and have asked for several times, and should be given, because I've been there three times as long as some of the people working that shift, my boss, we'll call him Dumbass(cause it's fitting), tells me that he is taking off the last 3 weeks of January, and I will be filling in for him. This is nothing new, I've been doing his job when he takes off for a while now, this is just a bit longer than usual. This means I will be working 11pm-7pm for three weeks, this is the shift I despise, but at least I will be the boss. Today I show up at work at 11am, cause no one told me what time to come in this week and I took a wild guess. Around 12 when I finally get access to a computer to check my emails, there's one in there from Dumbass telling me that I will not be filling in for him, but the guy I hate most of all at my job will be instead, we'll call him Douchebag(cause it's fitting). Douchebag has only filled in for Dumbass once, for three days., and they asked me to keep an eye on him while he did it. Why the fuck do I have to baby sit, if you think he can do the damn job, then he should be able to do it his own damn self. And not only will Douchebag be filling in for Dumbass (which will make him my immediate supervisor for three weeks) but I don't get to work 11-7 either, I have to work noon-8 which is worse! When the other people in the office heard that Douchebag will be doing the job instead of me there were general noises of dismay and disbelief, cause well, he's a Douchebag. The only thing that kept me from walking out was that I found out that a lot more people know that Douchebag is a douchebag than I thought. Douchebag's regular job is to find lost cars (yes you can lose a car, cause when you're looking for 1 car in 3000 cars, its like looking for a needle in a stack of needles) the person I was covering for last week, who sort of supervises Douchebag, came up to me and said "this morning when I came in there were 17 lost cars, its now 6 hours later, and there are 17 lost cars." then she shook her head and walked away.

Long story short, if anyone works for a company that is hiring, I know excel, word, and outlook as well as some other piddly ass systems that I hope to god no one uses cause they are ancient. I type fairly well although I don't know how many WPM, and I can rock the hell out of the 10 key. I have 3 years dispatch and office experience as well as time spent out in a freight yard. I made $41,000 last year and would like at least that to start. I'll work in LA, Orange county or western San Bernardino county, possibly Riverside county if it pays well enough. Thank you.
