I've been thinking about getting a pair of smallish swallows tattooed on my lower belly just above my hipbones... i had drawn up designs and everything, quite similar to these ones, but I love EVERYTHING about these. The colours, the wings...

And in the banners I had planned to get 'Memento Mori' on one side, and 'Memento Vivere' on the other. Which is Latin for 'Remember death' and 'Remember life', or 'remember you must die' and 'remember to live'. Has deep personal meaning for me.

The only thing that's been stopping me from getting them is the thought of them stretching horrifically if i get preggers one day in the distant future...
