On Monday I hit a rock with my lawnmower. It bent the blade and rendered it useless. I removed the blade and took it to my basement. There I stuck it in the vice and straightened it. While I was at it, I sharpened it as well. When I was done I put it back on the mower and finished the lawn.
Yesterday my girlfriend and I worked the local polls for the Mayoral Primary election. We checked people out after they had voted. A friend of ours is the Warden for ward 6 - that's how we got the gig. Most folks who do this are considerably older than us. It's simultaneously interesting and boring. Yesterday was very slow, only about 40 people in 4.5 hours. In a couple of weeks we will get checks from the city for $45.
Today I am trying to get some stuff done but instead I am here on SG arguing about tattoos and intellectual property rights. I often wish I could just quit the damn internet cold turkey.
