Do you have friends who lend you stuff against your will? Stuff that you don't want or have no interest in? A guy I have been friends with for more than a decade keeps throwing CDs and DVDs at me that I don't want to have to listen to/watch just to report back on how I liked them.
We have fairly similar tastes in music, but this one band he keeps thrusting my way just doesn't do anything for me. I gave them back and told him that I had burned them onto my computer to listen to when I had a chance. That's the truth, but I don't know when I am going to "have a chance" to spend 2 hours listening to a band I don't like.
The DVD I have sitting on my TV is even trickier. It's the special uncut version of "Das Boot". At over 5 hours long, I am not looking forward to that marathon. What's a guy to do?
