Why is it that every time I go to Providence to celebrate my friend's birthday, the trip gets cut short by weather? We had planned to spend time in Boston today, but had to make a miserable trip back here to plow wet, heavy snow.
At any rate, the weekend was awesome before it snowed. Saturday started with noodles in Quincy (the Asian part) with some of my SG chums. For some stupid reason I didn't take any pictures. Tell me, you folks, how was the movie? Did you have any trouble getting there?
After that we went to wee Rhode Island to watch tipsy RISD students and Rollergirls participate in the annual lip-synch contest. Much fun was had by all.
On Sunday we slept wicked late, ate huge piles of breakfast and lolled around all day. We ended up sitting (skating?) in on a practice session with the Providence Roller Derby teams. We have a long way to go in getting our team off the ground, but there are plenty of people interested in helping out.
Speaking of Derby, (Every third word out of my mouth is about Derby these days) we are looking into going to Tuscon for the first ever Dust Devil Invitational Derby tournament. We have to figure out how to get some cheap tickets, but I really want to go. Not only to see Providence play teams from around the country, but to swim in Derby and learn as much as possible.
OK, that's enough about that for now.
I'm freezing cold. I turned the heat down due to a massive bill and I'm not wearing enough clothes. I should fix that.

Also, I know what you mean about netflix. I once had some fantastic suggestions about setting up some sort of search by plot function, but never even got a form e-mail back.
