Thanks to my girlfriend and some bizarre censorship on Adult Swim, I have had a revelation about Jesus. As the story goes, he let others eat his flesh, then later came back from the dead. That sounds like a Zombie in reverse, or "Reverse Zombie" if you will. So on this high holy day for Zombie fans, let's pause a moment and think about...

Thanks for the directions! We'd definitely like to go, but we still aren't sure how the weekend is going to play out with our friends moving into town and all. I'll let you know. I think I still have your cell number around here somewhere.
We'll probably go see Pressure Cooker at the Milky Way in JP on Friday. Get this, I just figured out that their frontman is the guy who played with the Drastics in Chicago (opening for Desmond Dekker) that I was raving about in my review of that show! I don't know what the situation was that brought him to Chicago for that show, but it's cool to know that he's a local lad.
Are you thinking about going to the Summer Reggae Jam next Sat (the 9th)? Toots and Buju Banton will be there. I have no idea how much it is or where it is (Suffolk Downs), but I'm going to find out more.
Hey, I heard about this reggae/soul night in Allston (O'Brien's, I think). Know anything about it?
Nice ties, btw!

You keep out-doing yourself with every group image...I love it so much, I appreciate it so much...I know everyone is going to love it...
Pierogies are probably my favorite food in the world...I think you know how much I love potatoes...Potatoes + dough, oh my god...I've never had them with the mushroom sauce, but that sounds genius...I don't know why no one has ever thought of that before...
Try to be extra nice to your girl for me so she will invite us to dinner...
You can call me Aly, by the way...

No, I pretty much have to start right in. It sucks, but at least it will be slow to start as I slowly get brought up to speed on everything.
Are you thinking about going to the derby on the 3rd?

We are thinking about going, but we're not sure yet. I'll let you know for sure a little closer to the event. We do have a car so that won't be a problem (*knocks on wood* ... you never know with my car), but directions would be great. We might see about dragging along a couple of my friends who will be moving into Somerville on July 1st (from Detroit). They'll probably be exhausted though.

no, I didn't buy the goat...I really wanted to, but the thought of a 3 day road trip with a goat made me reconsider...tell me your "creepies" stories when you get a chance...

It's a good vs. evil theme that incorperates the grim adventures of billy and mandy. I have a crappy phone cam pic in my pics folder but it really doesn't do it justice. As soon as I figure out my sidekick I'l get more up...

yes! everyone loves you!
If you ever find yourself in a position to take advice from your weird neighbor, instead take this advice from a weird guy you met on the internet: Don't listen to him.
Thank you
P.S. Oven cleaner does not, in my experience, strip paint.

that church is across the street from my favorite dunkin donuts...I know it's absurd to have a favorite dunkin donuts, but we love that part of weymouth and it's excuse to get out of hingham for a cup of coffee...that totally sucks that it burned down, but I bet it was kick ass to watch it happen...
my wedding reception was at Marina Bay and all of my friends refused to go because they thought it was too stuffy and proper, so our reception was filled with 200 hundred of my in-laws friends...we left after 30 min and went home and watch law & order reruns...

I love eggs benedict, so I would probably love that diner...what's the name of it? we usually go to stars in hingham for breakfast/brunch and everytime we go, we say that we need to find a new place for breakfast...have you ever been to stars? it's ok, but not as greasy as a good diner should be...
zombie movies on sc-fi? yeah, I watched all of them and I didn't move from the sofa all day...I'm sure I bothered the neighbors with my cackling laughter, because bad zombie movies = nonstop giggling from me...

no, I don't have anything in mind...it just has to be around 235 x 175px, but other than that, whatever you can think of would be cool with me...

>Edited to add: I keep forgetting to tell you (you may already know) but the New England Revolution are undefeated as of the other day. The bad news is that apparently their star player (name?) just got injured.
Yeah, they've been unbelievable this season. Its too bad about Twellman though. Seeing a Revolution game will be one of my top priorities after I get there.
Have fun at the Pietasters ... dance extra hard for me!

Hey, I'm hanging in there. Things are pretty hectic around here with the move just around the corner. Packing, finishing up things at "work". I'll just be glad when its all over.
I haven't heard the Aggrolites. Where are they from?
Back to packing ...

We are going U-haul-stylee! I wish we could just mail ourselves, but we've got too much stuff that we are unwilling to part with to go that route. Or have enough money to pay for movers. And it's such a scenic drive, too! Hahaha! At least my parents live about halfway (Detroit), so it will be a nice break. I just want to be moved and done with it. I can't get out of this town fast enough.
I will definitely check out the Aggrolites.
Edited because I can't spell to save my life.

5 Days, $452 and 642 Miles! The Inlaws Tour 2005 is officially wrapped.
It's nice to have my house back. Everything is so quiet again. Don't get me wrong, I like my girl's family, but they are Krazy with a K. When they are all together, doing something simple such as going out for pizza is like planning D-Day. Nothing is left uncomplicated. Mom-In-Law has...

I'm kidding, I thought about posting it in the group, but I was too lazy to do the work...so I'm grateful for you doing it for me...
I'm not that skeletal, but I haven't had a hamburger in almost a year, so I'll take you up on that offer...

Hey, I finally made it back. We found an apartment in Clevend Circle. Basically what we were looking for but there were plenty of bumps along the way. At least we know the ropes for next time.
It was great meeting you. Hopefully it won't be the last time. I'm not sure that we'll be in town for the the Pietasters show since it looks like we are going to moving on the 15th or so. I hate to miss the show, but it makes life easier for us.
Thanks again for the CDs!! They're fantastic!

Right...I had gathered that you'd already graduated, that was the reason I was interested to talk to you. I'm mostly just interested to know what you do for a living (if it involves Japanese), and (again, assuming that it does), what you did post-graduation in terms of grad school, language programs, whatever. I've got two more years myself, but I'm starting to look into that sort of stuff, so any information would be really helpful!
Why is Ichiro Suzuki allowed to have his first name on his uniform? I would guess it was because when he came over the overwhelming ignorance of how Asian names work let him get away with it, but nowadays when they put the stats up on TV they say "Suzuki", so it certainly seems they have figured it out. For some reason that rubs me...

I forgot about Pete and Pete... thanks for the heads up. I love netflix.

I had Blockbuster Online for a while, but almost every single title they had was accompanied with a Long or Very Long Wait. With NetFlix, I think I've only had 2 movies, not including new releases with any wait at all.

Holy frijoles Land of the Dead was frigging awesome. Boobs, dead midget pimps, zombies and hot hot Asia Argento... This movie was fantastic.
There wouldn't happen to be any single derby ladies, would there? Haha. Unfortunately we have the summer nationals up here this weekend so I'm not sure if I'll be free sunday, but if this happens again over the summer, I'm sure I can make time.
Almost worth the train ride.
