Drinking makes visiting my folks fun. I've had quite a few glasses of wine, so excuse me if I lapse into incoherence.
New job is going well - I had my first shift at another store location and thought I did alright. At the very least, I got a nice head-start when it comes to operating the cardboard crusher. While we're putting the shop together, we're not required to wear uniforms and instead have been told to wear stuff we won't mind ruining, so I'm gonna bring out some old metal and punk shirts I haven't worn in ages. Old t-shirts... so comfy.
One of the first things I'm going to do when I return home is quit my band - I've had it with the clashing personalities, differing views on music, and petty arguments that put any and all progress to a halt. Done and done - Candlemas Day will become my main project from here on out, and I have really high hopes for it. We've got some really talented guys involved in this, and instead of wasting time arguing, we just create. That's the way it should be.
