Reason #481 That I Love Me:

When I get a hostile phone call from an ex on speakerphone from a party where her and my friends are, and she baselessly accuses me of cheating on her, and claims to have 'forgotten' the threat she made to kick the shit out of me if she ever saw me again after failing to deliver on said threat while her friends laugh in the background, what do I do?

I show up at the fucking party, that's what. That place died as soon as I came in - no harsh words, no shit taken from her friends, just somber acceptance displayed through uncomfortable silence. If only I had a video camera, I would've taped the moment I opened the door and came in - it was amazing. Talking stopped, eyes widended, and mouthes damn near dropped. I only wish she were there still when I arrived - but no matter, her friends will no doubt fill her in on the fact that I have balls of steel.

I don't take shit, and I thrive off conflict. And now they are fully aware of this. Let's see them try that again after tonight.
