Behold - the most awesome CD review ever.

Scott Stapp
The Great Divide
(Wind-Up)
0/10

Scott Stapp is much like a festering boil on the ass of the music industry no matter how much he is mocked, no matter if he has a band or not, he just wont take his no-talent self away from a microphone. It seems that in between being outed by his band and making adult home movies with other musical visionaries like Kid Rock, Scotts found the time to create another pile of shallow, pitch-corrected musical bullshit. All of the mans usual musical hallmarks are on display here uninspired guitar playing, generic drums, and inaudible bass, all acting as a backing band to this faux-inspirational lyric spouting reject. Those taste-deficient individuals who buy this single will be treated to two songs (both of which sound pretty much the same) and a video for the title track, in which Stapp performs on a glass stage that I was hoping would shatter and injure him throughout the videos duration. In The Great Divide, Scott asks us Isnt this beautiful? No, its not it just sucks really, really badly. To him, I plea: stop making music; instead, try your hand in making Frisbees because in reality, thats what this single amounts to.

Brisbanites, look for this in the upcoming Tsunami, and cut it out and frame it if you so desire. And if they don't print this, heads will roll.

Ah, it doesn't take much writing skill to make people hungry, just name some good food. smile

Speaking of writing skill, I think I'm going to turn back to fiction, my first love. I don't think modeling is for me.
