Man, quite a few adventures were had since my last writing in this thing. Let's start from the top:
Anzac Day: Got drunk in the afternoon with Sam with some friends, met an awesome punk chick, and then, by chance, remembered that Hatebreed were playing at the Basement. I scored a ticket off some guy whose girlfriend couldn't make it for a measly $20. Against rocked, and Hatebreed kicked my ass and gave me NJxHC flashbacks. Only down-side: my glasses are gone, and I'm now on my backup pair, but looking back it was still a badass evening.
Thursday: My 20th birthday was spent hanging around until about seven, when we went to the Arena for Opeth, who were fucking awesome. Only three songs off the new album, tons of old ones, and it all closed with Deliverance. I spent the show with someone I hadn't seen for ages - it was cool to catch up with her.
Friday: Double birthday party for myself and Col held at the house - it was decent. Quite a few people piked on us, but we made the best of it, I guess. I got drunk, we had two fifths of Anachrony streaking through our house, and there was an epic riff-off - overall, it was more enjoyable than our last party.
