It's official - I'm moving into the house either after work on Saturday (tomorrow) or Sunday. I already have about half of my shit here, and today I'm handing in my tenancy application. As with most big decisions, I'm a tad nervous about this whole thing, especially since it's going so fast, but I know it's gonna be amazing.

Yesterday ruled. Came down to Brisbane, and finally went to an Apex Null band practice - those guys are extremely tight. I also think that now we have a session drummer lined up for Constance - Apex Null's drummer seemed pretty enthusiastic about doing it. Oh, and I have to thank the oh-so-awesome Siara - there were new shirts at the practice space! I snagged two and a few posters.

I finally, finally had a decent/lengthy conversation with Cam, the owner of the practice space, and I have come to the conclusion that he's simply the ultimate dude. We must've talked for close to an hour, and actually ended up being late picking up our bass player as a result.

What's this? Constance has a bass player? We sure fucking do. We taught him one of our songs, and he seemed to be doing really well with it, especially considering that I remember being taught that song oh so many moons ago and it took three or four practices for me to get it all down. This guy is exactly what this band needs. Now all we need is a real drummer and we're set.

So, in short - there is a lot of good shit happening right now when it comes to Constance and myself. I can only think of one problem - and that'll be the tough one to correct. We'll see.
