When I woke this morning,
a bright new day was born.
A (quaker parrot) perched upon my sill to signal the coming dawn.
The bird was graceful, young and gay
sweetly did it sing.
Thoughts of joy and happieness within my heart did ring.
I smiled at the bird, and it's cheery song, and paused a moments pause. Then jently closed the window, and crushed the damn birds skull.
