Over a month since my last confession.....
Gotta raise at work, which means more responsibility. I haven't seen my house in the daylight in 2 weeks. Finally got a day off today. God my grass needs to be cut, weed the beds, power wash the house, so much to do.
Life is good though, put bigger tires on Amber's Jeep and went for a wild ride last sunday evening. The county above us has some very interesting back roads. County roads - on the map - are barely one lane dirt roads which, after awhile, make you think you are on someones hunting property. If another truck comes at you, there is no where to go but backwards. It had just rained and well.... she made me wash the Jeep.
Had fun though, been too long since we got to laughing from having stupid fun. Good stress releiver.
My folks are coming from NY for Thanksgiving, can't wait, it has been two yrs since I last saw them. Dad maybe staying to help us get the house up to speed, not that it needs much, but he has had greater experience in certain construction aspects. It's been far too long since he & I have just sat down and shot the shit.
