neckbone

well, another week in the books. nothing new to report. I am going through a stage right now where I am starting to miss some of the folks I new in college. Most were not anyone I would go out of my way to seek out, heard through the grape vine that they have not achieved much since. I tend to have an elitest attitude when it comes to poeple I interact with. I once went to The Stephen Covey Institute ( he wrote Seven Habits of Highly Affective People). One of the things he said was to be successful one should surround themselves with successful people. I try to live by that, but not run my life by it. I guess I just miss the atmosphere. I know people move on, their priorities change, and they move to farther areas of town, but I think sometimes if it is worth it to try and seek these folks out. I am probably not making any sense, I have a hard time putting my feelings in words. part of me says "you've made it this far without them, and the other says "These were the people who cared about you then - what's to say they still don't"? I'M CONFUSED!!!
