It's like 4am, and I'm awake marking article reviews for the course I'm a teaching assistant for. Ancient Science and Technology. Lots of papers about Archimedes, Roman vaginal specula and glass-blowing. I need to get them marked for January 3rd. Hopefully enough before January 3rd, that I still have time to write my own damned paper. I have an idea on how to radically revolutionize the educational process; make it more efficient, cheaper, better, and open to pretty much ANYONE who's interested.

It's a dark, dark night. There's snow on the ground outside. There has been for months, mind you, but I'm really -feeling- it today. I know that the days just get longer from here on in, but the season is really starting to get me down. Probably a result of the fact that my sleeping schedule has flipped around the entire wrong way, so I hardly ever see daylight. So goddamned depressing.

I'm listening to a mishmosh of really slow tunes. Slow, beating-heart tunes.

I'm considering setting up some sort of forum for SG members to trade music somehow. Either through a filesharing hub with one of the major hub-oriented programs (Direct Connect, Whatever). Or a streaming page, where members can stream their mixes to a (probably) appreciative audience. How to circumvent the legal problems? Should I look into legal licensing? Should I look into illegal sharing?

Is anyone even interested?

hey there.
this music swapping thing is an intriguing idea, but youd definately have to keep it on the hush hush, id think.
