I'm proud of my snake He ate his first rat. He's been eating mice, but he kept eating more of them. At two mice a week, I decided to see if he would be big enough to handle a small rat... sure enough, he handled it just fine.
He's gettin' big
It's kind of conflicting having a pet who eats something that I keep as pets, I have to tell myself that rats as food are different than the rats I keep as pets. The pet store where I get my snake-food from has a large pet-rat section, and they save the friendly rats from the food section all the time. It makes me love that store even more... So, the rats I bring home as food are the typical pet store-grown, never-meant-to-be-handled rats. The one time I brought home a rat who was super friendly, I kept him, and would up giving him to a friend of mine as a pet. His name is Frito, now, and he's well loved So, I guess it's ok.
I know I'm just kind of rambling...

Today is a shitty girl-day for me. I am really not feeling well right now. My back hurts really bad, and I've got horrible cramps. I know, y'all probably don't want to hear about it. I really really need to go to the health center (I can't afford a real doctor...) and get back on birth control so that I'm not in so much pain every month, but even the health center is too expensive on my budget. With all the doubles they give me, I still can't afford to go... Blech...

So, I'm going to go run errands. Pay bills and stuff.
