dream entry two...

I had a dork's dream last night...that my bike got stolen at a park and i cussed worse than old sailor on gin...

the park however didn't look that friendly to begin with...it was dirty and smelled of urine....

it was the park from my own child...but changed...
graffiti on the walls bathrooms reduced to nothing more than outhouses...those old wooden kinds...
and an old student of mine appeared...i was a teacher again...i was in my old uniform respected and feeling strong...i was in shape, my shoulder's high...and i wasn't afraid or angry, despite what happened to my bike, despite the ugliness around me.

this part of my life, which i both gave up and had taken away from me was returned to me....
as the class ended i imparted one last word to the students..."keep your guard up," and they responded with a loud and proud "ous!"
