a wedding was being planned...although it wasn't clear to me whose...
This was all taking place in the country where i am from.
one by one, the members of my mother's side of the family began to arrive...first myself & my cousin "L" who is about my age...but his sister "L" and his brother "A", along with my sister, were absent.
I remember answering the phone and it was my Uncle "V" and i told him "L" was here too and asked to talk to him as well...
The house was my aunt M's...a lot smaller, a lot poorer than the house she and her family (her husband, and four kids) had, but it was just her there...no husband, no children.
Two of my uncle "v's chidren were there, "I" the eldest and a boy, and "S" the middle one.

"I" looked as he did from the last time i saw him, in his twenties buy cousin "s" looked as she did as a little girl of nine...at first i didn't think much of this, then it all struck me rather odd.

I went over to say hi to "S" but she pulls away from me as if she doesn't recognize me...as i went over to introduce myself her eyes bulged freakishly and she was some strange creatur

here and there i saw members i didn't recognize, they were of dark skin, and mumbled words, as if they had no tongues....yet i treated them as people i knew...
and there there was 'P" a distant cousin, and although i realize now that it wasn't him...i recognized him as such in the dream.
he is a deaf and mute...but in the dream he had been beaten bloody...

According to my dream the residents of this town acted strangely before our arrival...
they wore strange looking robes, with large hoods which when pulled over looked like an elaborate cloth headress.

"P" was worried and kept a cell phone near him ready to send an SOS through text messaging...he walked to the streets as these people did stranger and stranger things .

"P"'s wife was in this crowd...dressed in these robes, her face dissappearing behind a shimmering veil...and screamihng...

"he has a cell phone!!!!Stop him!!!" was what she yelled, as these strangers fell on "P" and started beating him.

He was in terrible pain when i saw him...so much so that he climbed teh tower on the church which lead to a platform that overlooked the town and from there he wanted to jump...to end his life.

but he was stopped...by me, by friends...by his wife......her face still hiding behind that veil...when i realized what i was watching...i woke up

I wish it'd been drawn by me, but sadly, 'tis not the case.

You made complete sense. I've never read the book, but I'll get it today when I go to the library.

that screensaver sounds incredibly cool. Thanks!
