today, my car cindi got a smashed bumper...an apparent victim of a hit and run...
Normally that would be that, were it not that i believe cindi to be genuinely cursed...
since i've had her she has been struck three times, once pulling into a gas station by a backing up car, twice while parked without me in it...
coincidence you say?
after the first accident the insurance company of the other car was kind enough to send me a thirty page document with my car's whole history...
it had been in two previous accidents, one a result of a car robbery where the assailants tossed it in some creek...it has had two recalls, one for the seat belts (apparently they don't work in a collision,), the other for the shift changer... I kept a rosary for a time for good luck, until it mysteriously vanished...maybe she's just mad at me...i haven't washed her in the longest time...
she is alive...
she is my car...
