Got my new phone... got to get used to the touch screen and I am looking for a case to help protect it.

The SG site comes up nice...compaired to my old phone.... bigger screen and all the touch features on the screen!

So far ... I live it!

The area south of us got some snow ( 1 - 2 inches) depending where you went, and I had to drive through all that... the interstate highway was partially closed ( 4 down to 1 lane) and traffice was backed up for miles. Went out and finally ordered a new cell phone and when I was placing the order, I noticed there was a problem with the tax. Thank you world for celibrating my retirement from the US Army! Today marks the 3rd year of retirement and at time I miss it.

Rain results from the county I live in....

They are estimating the damages caused by the heavy rains we had may exceed $10 million. On city had about $750K in damages, mostly to washed out roads. Another area had about 1 million, and the list goes on.

The road crews are still working to get the dirt and stuff washed on the roads back off...

Hopefully the rain we got last night and this morning is done for a while. The city crews need to get the sand that washed onto the streets back off of the street. The river that is close to the city is starting to look the way it normally does.

Hopefully, the people living in the mountains will be back to normal soon.

The rain has stopped for now... and the cleanup continues! Oh joy!

The powers that be are saying that we may get more rain this weekend..... that is going to be great because of all the traffic heading home from Vegas.

Had to drive to a doctors appointment that would normally take about 90 minutes to get there. Because of the weather - heavy rain and thick fog - it took over 20 hours got get there because "most" of the drivers were actually driving the way they should in this wonderful weather.... there were a few drivers that didn't care that they couldn't see more...
