So my stepfather found my MIA septum ring on my works shop floor. Guess i did put it in my pocket and it fell out.
I made the call to the pharmacist girl and gave her my home number so the ball would be in her court. Now to just wait for the call. Now I know why I never did this dating thing or look into finding new friends. It is such a pain in the ass. Hopefully this will be worth it but I would not place any bets on it.
I borrowed a car and now I need something to do this weekend but not sure of what exactly.

I was going to suggest you do the switch thing to where it's her deal to make the move. Now, no worries.
It sucks you don't have any decent coworkers to hang with. It always gives you something in common. I guess that is one thing about having as many jobs as I've had. I've managed to make friends along the way. I haven't kept in touch with them all, but I suppose if I put forth the effort... they would be there. I always have that one moment of stupor when I recognize someone when I have to place if it's one of the 3 high schools I went to or a job I've had. Helps if they are much older than me and I can eliminate them from the school reference.
Plus there seems to be staggering differences between single/no kids and married with kids. There hasn't been many kids I've ran into that I've actually liked hanging out with and to get to know people you usually have to hang out with them and their kids. It seems hard to find people in the 25 and up age bracket that don't have kids anymore. I too am happy when I get carded. I attribute that to not having kids most of the time. Although I hear once you have them you grow up quick.
Glad you found your ring. It's odd but I usually find things once I stop looking for them.
I can't even remember the last time I took out my septum, I think it was for a dental X-ray like 5 years ago?
Gamecube is a wonderful thing. I'm very partial to it, but thats because I just love the weirdness that is Nintendo.
Games to get, if not now eventually:
Harvest Moon A wonderful Life, and if the cuteness doesn't kill you and you have a lot of free time on your hands I'd pick up Animal Crossing too. I played for a year straight, and because the characters exist in real time you'll go crazy and do weird things like wake up at 6am just to pretend to work out or skip real holidays to celebrate virtual ones.
Super Monkey Ball, 1 or 2 is great. 1 I think has dropped in price, 2 has better part games. They are both insane amounts of fun...and monkeys in balls...what can be better!
Metroid Prime, its breathtaking and the game play is smooth and fun.
Legend of zelda the Wind Waker, the cutesy thing is a bit unnerving at first, but the game play makes up for it.
Mario Kart, you can be Donkey Kong
And then there is of course Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness...creeepy.
I would avoid like the Plague Resident Evil 0 and Super Mario Sunshine. I tried to play Mario but I just couldn't get into it, and the voice of the vaccum cleaner was sooooo irritating.
Thats wordy...my apologies. Let me know what you pick up!
