I finally got myself to the beach today. Growing up in Eastern North Carolina, I went to the beach every year of my entire life. The Atlantic Ocean has been a part of my life for that long. Well, since I moved more inward here in NC, my beachgoing took an unintentional hiatus. Today, I finally said "Enough!" and headed down to Wrightsville Beach for the day. This particular beach is the easiest to get to from Raleigh because you just hit I-40 East and haul ass. It was great seeing the ocean again, and I got some much needed sun.

I too went to the beach every year growing up...but lately, I haven't been in years. Hope it's still lovely

We used to go to Wilmington a lot, but then we started chilling in Surf City. I prefer the latter. Glad to hear it's all still great
